- $2 per AC watt*, up to $10,000
- Incentive is determined after system is
de-rated for conversion from DC to AC.
- Emerald PUD Incentive
- $2 per DC watt, up to $10,000
- LEC Incentive
- $1 per DC watt, up to $10,000
- State Tax Credit
- $3 per DC watt, up to $6,000
- $1,500 per year claimed over 4 years
- Federal
- 30% of net installed cost
- after utility incentive deduction
System costs very and depend on size
Typical systems range from $9-$12 per DC watt.
Ability to take advantage of tax credits assumes required tax liability.
Solar Hot Water
Typical systems consist of (1) 4 X 10 collector or (2) 4 X 8 collectors and are rated according to kWh saved.

- $4,000 loan @ 0% interest, repaid over 60 months
- Emerald PUD Incentive
- $600
- Up to $7,500 loan @ 0% interest repaid over 60 months
- LEC Incentive
- $500

- State Tax Credit
- $0.60 per kWh equivalent saved; up to $1,500
- Federal
- 30% of net installed cost
- after utility incentive deduction
System costs vary and depend on size.
Typical systems can save up to 2,000 - 2,600 kWh equivalent per
year and can cost from $8,000 - $9,500 +.
